What we collect
When you place an order we collect the name, email address, billing address, shipping address and phone number you enter, together with the contents and total of your order. When you create an account we store your username, email address and a hashed password. When you contact support we keep the message you send and the address you sent it from, so we can reply.
What the site collects automatically
WordPress and WooCommerce set functional cookies that keep your cart and your login session working. Your browser also sends technical information — IP address, user agent, requested page — that the web server records in its logs. No third-party analytics, advertising or tracking service is connected to this build.
Why we use it
Order and account information is used to process, fulfil and support your purchases, and to send transactional email such as order confirmations. Support messages are used to answer your question. Server logs are used to keep the site running and secure.
Who it is shared with
Nothing is sold. Once the store operates commercially, order data will necessarily be shared with a payment processor and a delivery carrier. Neither is connected in this build, so no such sharing is currently happening.
How long it is kept
Order records are kept for as long as accounting and tax obligations require in the relevant jurisdiction. Account details are kept until you ask us to delete the account. Retention periods will be stated precisely once the operating jurisdiction is confirmed.
Your choices
You can request a copy of the personal data associated with your account, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Deleting an account does not remove records we are legally required to keep, such as completed order invoices. Security
Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. This development build runs over a local, non-public address; the production site will require HTTPS across the whole store.
